Now in June, I gave a lecture at the 8th PetroTIC Seminar in Rio de Janeiro on the use of Artificial Intelligence in the oil industry. I reviewed the technology over the years and introduced the public to our Magali artificial intelligence platform.
In high investment industries such as oil, the decision making process is very critical because it is necessary to evaluate scenarios influenced by many variables with maximum precision and minimum time. Therefore, artificial intelligence is so important in this context, bringing rapid gains quickly.
Magali is a robot in the Folder245 family. It performs complex tasks from criteria entered on the platform.
Magali Robot's predecessor is designed for the automation of some workflow steps that evaluate and perform simple tasks. It replaces a human being in those activities 24 hours a day.
Gradually, the amount of activity that step automation was able to replicate increased, and our development team needed to include artificial intelligence mechanisms for analyzing and performing more complex tasks.
Anyway, we created the Magali "245" Robot. She is very smart and especially talented with words: she is able to extract information from unstructured data like emails, long descriptions and identify the context for making decisions. These decisions can be easily implemented and act on various activities.

The way to teach Magali is not very different from what we do with a new employee at work: it is necessary to describe the problem and point out the decision criteria.
Finally, Magali is ready to be used by more companies and people, is ready to help in the hard work and diversified.

- Suggests request for stock replacement of medical products
- Reads and sorts auto parts products in stock with non-standard descriptions

- Performs predictive analytics and makes decisions
The way to teach Magali is not very different from what we do with a new employee at work: it is necessary to describe the problem and point out the decision criteria.
It is multipurpose: it is capable of performing several different tasks at the same time involving complex criteria in very diverse areas like marketing, financial analysis, shopping, etc. Once she learns, she will begin to perform precisely this activity forever.
